I have an application that uses Visual FoxPro8. The app runs off a Windows 2003 small business server. I just setup and deployed the server. When setting up the Server, I ran a few security wizards from the server manager check list that pops up with new installs.
I have 2 remote locations that use Remote Desktop to access the server. My problem is that a normal user can run the FoxPro app from any computer on our network, but if the same users try to connect to the server from remote desktop, they get an error that they cannot access the Visual FoxPro library. Only users in the Administrators? group can run the FoxPro app from the remote locations.
I have tried creating a new group and granting that group Full Control of all files on the C: directory, for test purposes only. This did not resolve the issue. Could it be a local group policy issue?
Any ideas?
