I have a small NT network with NT 4.0 WS and Servers 4.0 (1 PDC and 3 BDCs). When I set up a new user and want to give that user Administrator priveleges on their own system the system seems to work fine. But when that user goes to install software, or anything else that requires administrator’s permissions, they get the error “access denied, check with adimistrator.” I get the same thing when setting myself up on a new computer. All applications run from the WS and only logon to the serverfor minimal tasks( i.e. printing). I have the permissions set on the server and on the WS but no difference. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!
