User Profile or Security Policy ???
I am a Network Administrator and i have been facing some problem while resetting the permissions in the User Groups. Now when the user logs on the system32 folder in the WINNT is open on the desktop. I know it is due to some reason of the policy or profile but i cannot able to solve it. If anyone can help me out in this ???
Thanks

Hi..

SOme days back, I have faced the same problem. There is nothing to worry, just what you have to do is some registry tweeking.

Use Windows Registry Editor to view the following two registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Verify that none of the values in these keys contain any null entries such as "".

IF you find any null entry just delete that, this will solve your problem.
