User Profiles

When i log on to my Windows 98 workstation on a microsoft network it always asks if i want to retain my individual settings. I don’t want to do this and choose no, however it asks this question everytime i log on.
I have tried checking all users ofthis computer use the same preferences in Password Control Panel which works a single time when i log on again but reverts back to asking the question the next time.
