I have one user’s PC that is a member of a workgroup and not our domain. I am going to be joining the PC to the domain. My question is related to the user’s profile. Basically what I want is to avoid doing a profile transfer because the profile size is about 5GB and it will take a long time. (this is for a traveling employee and not a lot of time is allocated for me to have possession of the PC) So If I rename the current profile, have the system create a new profile after the PC is a domain member, rename the new one to original name, will I run into a lot of problems with programs on the PC?
