In windows 2000 can we make specific user to use selected application software?If yes how can we make it?Please give step by step procedure.
e.g mg mg only can use ms word.

I have never tried this, but have you tried setting permissions on the executables located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office.

If you right-click winword.exe for example, you can set file permissions. Remove those users you do not want to use the program.

First is the computer part of a domain? If it is software can be controled with active directory group policies. This is not easy to explain in a forum like this. You should searh microsofts knowlage base.

Yes it is possible to restrict user to use specific application. This can be done thru active directory group policy. You need to explore gourp plicy user configuration.Remember create an OU first then move the users in to OU and then apply gourp policy, that would be easier to manage.
