I have remote Windows NT 4.0 Workstations and roaming users with laptops also running on Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
Often I am confronted with a situation where the PC/laptop is not on the network, and we need to change the network properties. In order to do this one needs administrator rights. I’m trying to give the user limited admin rights to access the network properties in order to do the change. I have tried creating a new user in the Power Users Group, and tried all the user rights policies, but to no availe. Are there any resource tools that I can use. Please could you advise me on this one.
