user sending empty email

By sjs ·
Since we went on Exchange Server (2000) I have one user that continually has a problem sending email. She types a message but when the email gets to the destination it has no text in the body. When she checks sent items it is also blank. I have had her remove stationary and signatures - same results. It has happened occasionally to two other users (out of 40) but to her frequently. She's also my boss and since she's getting tired of it - so am I. She is using Outlook 2003 - sending as HTML.

Yeah me too. all the service packs are up to date and everything is configured correctly. I even un-installed Outlook on her computer and re-installed it and updated it. I've doubled checked her email settings with mine (it's never happened to me) and they are exactally the same. It happens on both email she sends within and outside of the domain.

Try and send plaintext or html. If that works.

Also, try and have her log into your workstation and have her send an email from there and see if it works. If it works then it is a work station problem. If it doesnt then it is a server side problem.

Easiest way to fix a server side problem is to delete her account re-create her mailbox on the server. (Move emails to PST first.)
