I have a user that is running Novell client 3.30, Groupwise 5.5, Win 98, Oracle Financials, ACT!2000, Office 97 and for his Palm he has HotSync and IntelliSync. The machine is Compaq P733 (ram 128).
He started getting a USER.EXE message indicating a system resource issue, caused by insufficient file handles, insufficient system RAM, or too many programs open at once in Windows. First, I checked for a virus but he was clean. I then removed the HotSync and the IntelliSync from the startup and the error continued. I then told him not to have ACT!2000 open while he’s working in Oracle and the error still occurs.
I’m not sure what else to do.
