Username on Wallpaper

I am looking for a way to have the username (what ever logon you using to log onto the domain) to appear on the users desktop.
In other words, I want my wallpaper to say something like “billybenson is logged on this machine”

Give this program a try, it’s freeware from Sysinternals. It’s called Background Info. You can have it display some default values or any registry entry and have it updated any changes made to the registry by putting it into the allusers startup group.
