Hi

Right-click My Computer and select 'Manage'. Computer Management will open. In the left hand pane expand 'Shared Folders' and click on 'Open files'. The right hand pane will list all open files and the users who are accessing them.

Good luck

While the above answer is one good way to check. You can also go to a command prompt and type NETSTAT. This will let you know who/what is communicating with your machine from a connection level, rather than just connected via browsing or opening shares.

C>netstat

Active Connections

Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
TCP SomeMachine:1095 baym-cs50.msgr.hotmail.com:1863 ESTABLISHED
TCP SomeMachine:1147 c10-btg-xw-lb.cnet.com:http ESTABLISHED
TCP SomeMachine:1148 c10-ad-xw-lb.cnet.com:http ESTABLISHED
