using 2 harddrives in windows

I have an HP Laptop with 2 harddrives, the 1st drive is full of work projects and images. How do I map my documents and images to my secoond drive? I also want to start using that drive for storage. suggestions?

If the disk management utility is seeing the drive, it simply needs to be formated.....

I'm not sure what you mean about mapping your files to that drive.... Once it is formated you can just drag them over to the new drive...

mapping: you can set the "My Documents" folder to be a shortcut...

to drive , E:, or whatever. My guess at the intended question is that.

To change the physical disk or directory that is called "My Documents" on your desktop, right-click the "My Documents" folder, and on "Target" tab click "move". The rest is probably self-explanetary.
