During my move, my computer sustained some damage to the hard drive. It is an 18GB Maxtor with one FAT32 partition, one NTFS, and one unformatted. The NTFS partition sustained all the damage (Win2K would not boot or repair the installation). WhenI tried to format the drive, it spent all night getting 50% through, and then told me it couldn’t do the job. However, it looks like not all the space on that partition is bad.
Question: Could I re-partition that partition to exclude the bad spots? How?
