Using Calendar Ctrl 9.0 in Access Forms

By markpokornycos ·
I have inherited a database that includes a calendar in one form. That calendar has the year set to 2001, so folks who use the form frequently forget to change the year. That makes it tough to run a query on the date! Is there anyway to set the default date on the calendar to the current date??

Look at properties of the control.

Place Form in design mode and select calendar control. If properties window not displayed, use right-mouse-button to bring up a menu and select 'Properties'.

The properties 'Day', 'Month', 'Year' are used to initialise the calendar control.

These, of course, can be changed under program control - let me know if you need further info.
