Using camcorder as web cam

Does anyone know of any way to do this
The machine has a tv card and the cancorder pics can be set up so that they show immediatley in real time but what does it need ( if it can be done ) to send them across the net

If your computer has a TV input card then connect the Camcorder up to it. Open the TV program, and get it so you can see what the cam see's. Just about everyone of those programs has a still shot capability. Take snapshots and send those.

I imagine you are actually asking for the other person to see the images in realtime. It really depends on the make of the card and software it uses. ATI is the big guy followed by Matrox. I will assume you have one of those. When these are installed they install drivers that can be used within Microsoft's Netmeeting. Install netmeeting and tinker around in there under the capture (or similiar)settings and select the only thing that should be listed. If this works you can probably use the same process for just abount any webcam software-See-U-See-Me.
