By mikey_sfsu ·
May company has designers using macs on
an NT network. Does anyone know if they
can use Fetch to upload files to their home
directories on the NT server?

Thanks,

Did you consider installing NT's Services for Macintosh on your NT Server, this should allow good connectivity for the clients? As to FTP, it should work but I've not tried it and it sounds like it would be awkward for the clients.

I believe you will need the "File and Print Services for Macintosh" insalled on the server. It's the only way the mac users can get authenticated.
This is how I'm doing it and it works just fine. (Macs need to be setup with TCP/IP correctly)
