Using GHOST…OS…WinXP PRO NTFS

I have an OEM GHOST that came with my BioStar MB, it says that it is compatible with XP.
I copied the File from the CD to c:/ …
All I get is the DOS window to flash on the screen then nothing…I tried changing the compatablility to Win98/2000 with no luck.
Can I make a Boot Ghost disk? Or a Boot CD on CD-R media? What is the deal here? NOTE: GHOST v.2003 OEM
