Using PDA wifi~Office laptop~Office LAN

Hello,
Just have a small question. I haven’t yet tried this. I want to connect my PDA to my office PC/Network. The PDA has Wifi and Office PC is connected with office LAN, has 802.11g.

Sometimes you are away from your system but need to retrieve information. My question is can I use my PDA to retrieve and open files on office network.
Current operating system on both devices are windows
