Using Radius Server and IAS for Wireless network Authentication

by joe donahue . Updated 22 years, 9 months ago

I’m running Win2K Advanced Server on my Network and have set up wireless access points and want to authenticate using a Radius server. I would like to use the MAC address from the wireless client adapters to authenticate that is unless there is a better way. We are small college and the wireless access is for the students in the dorms. As it stands right now the buildings are connected with a fiber backbone and on each floor the access points connect to an 8 port hub which is plugged into switch via Cat 5 cable. Without security anyone with a wireless adapter can connect to the network. Any Ideas?
