I have set up RAS to use a Serial Cable “modem” on two machines and have successfully started the RAS server on the selected port. Flow control is the same (I have tried hardware and none). The cable works fine between Hyperterminals running on eachmachie.
The problem is that I receive an “Error 629: The data link was terminated by the remote machine.” when trying to connect to the RAS server.
Anybody with any ideas on how to solve this?
