    using the net running wine

    hello guys/girls just wondering im using mandrake 10.1 and need help currently i play a online game which requires windows environment!But would like to play it in linux instead,i now i need to run wine to run the program but will i still be able to play it online?
    also do i need a different wine to run it if it needs direct x?

      directx and activex are not supported, even with wine.
      so I doubt that it will work.
      if you can run wine and get the game working, you will be lucky, the configure of wine was right.

      Best bet is for just look for the games that already run on linux. Many Windoze games also have a linux version.

      just to list a few sites to check. Will have better luck with this route than trying to get the win version to run on the nix.
