using unnatend.txt to deploy win2k pro

By soloshell3 ·
I'm creating an unnatend.txt file to automate the upgrade of several win9x boxes. I've run the upgrade on a test machine and everything is fine except for a warning regarding Direct X 8.0 during the compatibility check (at the begining of the upgrade). The warning is not a problem, I can click ok and the rest of the installation is automated, but having to click ok defeats the purpose of automating the install.

I can not figure out how to tell the install to ignore this compatibility warning. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Did you even read my question? If you don't have a clue, don't bother answering.

Upgrade Directx on the machines before running the OS upgrade.

Good luck.

The warning is recieved because the 9x client already has Direct X 8.0 installed. The warning informs you that Win2k is only going to install DX7 and that games that require DX 8.0 may not work correctly.
