Using vista and exchange server

My company uses Exchange server 2003
I access my mails at home using vista
when I try to reply to a mail in the exchange server mail box internet explorer restarts and the mail is not sent.
I have looked at the security settings in vista and added the work site to my trusted sites but this has made no difference.
