I have a client who backs up their Quickbooks
Pro data to a Zip Drive using the backup
utility that came with Windows 98SE. I’ve
tried to automate the backup using the Windows Task Monitor. Everything works great
except when the Task Monitor starts the backup, it prompts the user for a backup job.
I’ve created one called “Daily_Backup” which
backs up their Quickbooks Pro data. My
question is this: Is there a way to fully
automate the backup so that it is done
unattended ? The backup program is
MSBACKUP.EXE. Is there any command line
parameters or switches that will let me
specify what backup job is to be ran ? I
didn’t find anything in the Windows Help.
