I have a 3Com/US Robotics Voice Ready Winmodem. I use this modem under W2K and Win98. It works fine under Win98, but not under w2k. I tried using the updated drivers for it, but they didn’t work. I removed all drivers and infor related to these drivers in order to reinstall the modem. None of the drivers work, including the Windows 2000 driver that was originally used.
The W2K driver (original) worked for one connection of the modem, but I would have to reboot to reconnect the modem. But, at least, I was able to connect.
I need help in finding the specific functional driver for this modem that works under W2K so that I can connect, and, if I can, I don’t want to have to reboot for any reconnections
