I have a Sony Vaio notebook and the Cd-Rom drive is not reading cd’s, but it shows up under My Computer as a drive. I even connected an external Cd drive and the same thing happens. It will read a flash drive and a external floppy drive but nothing on the cd side. I reinstalled windows and it still not working. As anyone had this problem.
