VB app and admin rights

I created an app in vb6. Nothing special, no database calls, it only uses the flexgrid.
I used the package and deployment wizard to create a setup routine. Once the program is installed on a computer, a user needs administrator rights to run the it. Otherwise they get an error “Program failed to initaialize”. Is there a setting or flag that I am missing?
Any halp would be appreciated.
