VB Express with Databases

Is there a good source for getting help or tutorials for VB Express and databases?

I’m trying to create through VB Express a pretty indepth application that uses a SQL based database and I’m having nothing but issues. I have no Visual Basic language experience, but I consider myself fluent with Access based databases. Problem is I’m not allowed to use them where I’m at right now, so I’m being forced to learn all new tools on my own. I’ve pretty much exhausted my hands-on learning, I need to upgrade :).
