VB5 - Can I access the version info?

By JohnGreer ·
When I create/make an EXE file, the compiler increments my version information. I can see it from the Windows Explorer (e.g File Version: 1.0.0.23). How can I access this from within VB?

In the design mode, select Project on the top menu, then click Properties. Click the "Make" tab. There you will see the numbers for major, minor, and revision. If the "Auto Increment" box is checked, the compiler will increment the version by 1 number each time you re-compile. You can also edit this manually by opening your .VBP file with any text editor.

Sorry for the confusion, I know about that, I have it set to auto-incr. I'm looking for a way to access this info from within the VB code because I want to display it on a form.

I found it:

MsgBox VB.App.Major & "." & VB.App.Minor & "." & VB.App.Revision
