VBA and VB.NET

By bill_ingersoll ·
VBA and VB were closely joined at the HIP. Now, with VB.NET will VBA also change? In other words, will VBA sysntax and functionality remain as is (compatible with VB and the associated development) or will it change to the new language since VB.NET is dramitically different.
Could not really find any literature explaining this.

VBA and VB.NET

Hi Bill,

I am very new on VBA and VB but all I can say all programs change...even version of Windows change how many programming languages do we have...a lot so don't believe on promises that a developer might say that we will never change it.Every software have so many versions and new patches there will always be a change. People are getting smarter and easy to program they can simply it more and now a days information is just one click of a mouse. This just an opinion.

Cheers,
