VBA to maximise/zoom to 90%

By fhu ·
I am fairly new to access so excuse that. I would like to have some simple VBA, that is entered in the open event of an access report, which maximises/zooms the report to 90% of its size (if I put a macro to maximise it, it is to big and I can't see the controls at the bottom). Any advise would be very much appreciated.

I looked around and there are two aproaches you can take to accomplish this. I am not sure if either one works, but this is a starting point. you could use the sendkeys and send altVz7 to the application to get the report zoomed to 75% you may be able to add 90% to the menu and give it a hotkey of 9. (but that is another question.) The other way to do this is to access the snapshot viewer control that is what access uses to render the report. it has a zoom property that you can set to the zoom value you want. (How to access the snapview control is also another question)

Not sure if it works in VBA but in regular VB you can get the height and width of the Screen object and calculate your 90% values for the form.
