Why is it that even though there are written policies and procedures in place, there is always that one department (Accounting) who thinks they’re above them?

The controller of our company is the biggest ass one would ever want to meet, and instead of following procedure, he always emails me directly (along with the Sr. VP of Finance, and Director of IT) with his request, and it’s always TOP PRIORITY. Nevermind that if he did his job better, and pulled his head out of his ass, he would understand that to email me directly only means that the task will take that much longer. “Good morning, your request requires a form be completed and submitted to the requests mailbox.”

What a freakin’ ass!
