Veritas backup exec8.x agent browser

I am using Veritas backup exec 8.6 on NT Server(SP6a)now the problem is that whenever i reboot my server backup exec 8.x agent browser service not starting automaticaly, even though startup type is selected as automatic
I have to start it manualy from services

I have downloaded and updated the patch available at veritas

Anys solution other than reinstalling Veritas

I would check dependencies. If the Agent Browser depends on another service, that required service may not be loading in time for the agent browser. This is known as a timing issue. What you can do to resolve this issue is set the priority of the required service to a higher level causing it to load more quickly.

Also, some admins have changed the services information to logon as a specific account to run. Check that tab under services and see if it is running as a local service or you are having log on as another user.

Logging on as another user to start the service is great until someone deletes / changes the username or password for it.
