Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with Veritas Net Backup in conjunction with Storage Tec robotic tape silos?
The short version is that we are having problems with downed drives, file read and write failures, inconsistent slow backups, and several other issues related issues.
We have updated to most current patches and have replaced the Microcode and firmware on the tape drives. DLT 7000’s.
Our most consistent problem seems to be that tape drives go offline for no apparent reason. We do have 12 Quantum DAT drives.
