I’m new to Linux and have RedHat 9 dual booting with Windows on my PC.
I’m using USRobotics V.Everything External type connected to Comm port 2, it works fine in Windows but in Linux i’m unable to get it dial to my ISP.
It will make some noise at first but will soon quiet off with this error message: cannot activate network device ppp1, Failed to activate ppp1 with error 8
I’ve tried playing with the settings of networking but had no luck.
