vga or s-video to usb hub

By dianna_pop ·
Both USB ports on a HP Pavilion laptop are blown. The only good inputs are a 15 pin VGA and an s-video. Is there a converter that can be plugged into either vga or s-video with a USB hub on the other end?

In a word (and for two reasons) - NO....

The two reasons are:

The 15 pin VGA and the S-Video are OUTPUTS.

So, how do you know the USB ports are 'blown' ?
Have you checked the USB ports in Device Manager yet ?

They make PCMCIA adapters for just about everything. It is a very versatile port :)

Just be careful about some USB-powered devices

Like hard drives. These can draw a lot of power and will not always work with a PC-Card adapter.
