IBM Via Voice ver. 9 Pro USB, causes a memory conflict with Word 2000 such that neither works. Word works if I uninstall ViaVoice or if I launch Word using the /a switch (disables add-ins). The actual message is:
ViaVoice_ActiveX_CEngine: WINWORD.EXE – Application Error : The instruction at “0x77fca818” referenced memory at “0xfffffffd”. The memory could not be “read”.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Neither Microsoft nor IBM have any relevant information on their Knowledge bases.
OS is Win2000Pro, PIII-850, 256MB, 5GB free space available, Office 2000 is the suite.
