    Video card questions

    i want to know how to find out if my video card is built on the mother board or if it is by itself.

    my computer is a dell dimension 2350 1.7 ghz processor 256 ddr ram and 30 gb hard drive.

    i want to know if the following video card is compatible with my computer:

    BFG Technologies Asylum GeForce FX 5600 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card
    Model: ASLM56256

      The system comes with onboard video graphics,using the Intel 845 chipset,determining the compatibility of the graphics card is not available since dell does not release the specs of the motherboard used,check the manual to see if the board has an AGP slot and whether it will support 4X or 8X this info may have to come from dell by contacting Dell technical support.

      The system doesn’t have an AGP slot.
      The following url shows that the MB only has 3 PCI slot and no AGP.
