Video Freq Changes Accessing Network DB

By jrandal ·
Video Frequency goes out of range when accessing any database across the network using Microsoft Access 2000. If the database is located on the machine it works fine. Any other access of the network works fine. The monitor, video card, and network interface card have all been replaced. Office 2000 has been re-installed. Windows 98 SE has been reinstalled. I am on the verge of running fdisk, format and re-installing everything.
Thanks for any different suggestions.

Drop the frequency of the monitor down to 60Hz. Access the database over the network and see if it continues with the error. Increase the frequency to the next level and access the db until you reach the maximum vertical refresh for accessing it across the network.

Check your display drivers and update them if necessary. Also, check the monitor type and replace the monitor driver with the Plug and Play driver if possible.
