I have a PowerSpec 6342 with integrated graphics.
The monitor stopped working today. If I disconnect the video, the monitor goes into self-test, and therefore works.
When I boot up, the screen goes blank. The computer seems to boot fine, just no video.
I tried putting in a new AGP video card, but that didn’t work at all. Then the monitor just stayed in self-test, meaning it wasn’t getting any feed.
I suspect that the on-board video needs to be toggled off before the card will work, but I have no idea how to do that.
Any experts?
