On a remote PC (similar with the ones that we have in our network) I have some problems configuring the video settings. It looks like I can’t configure the system to accept more than 16 colors (you know ,display properties, settings..).
I reinstalled the video driver (remotely), I tried different drives but nothing. Altough I managed to see the 256 option (before it was only the 16 color in the drop box) every time I restart the PC it tells me that there is a problem with the video setting. The only difference is that I have the a different harddrive on that machine machine (I kept the old one when I upgraded that location to a better PC). But Windows is reinstalled. The hard part is that I only have PCAnywhere access to that PC and I can’t open the box to have a look inside. (There are like 300km to that location and I don’t miss a trip right now :).
