Videos are faded/grayish when played in Windows Media Player.

By KPryd3 ·
This has started happening after I downloaded the latest driver for my Nvidia video card. The videos have a faded/grayish tint until I open up one of the options from the Nvidia settings icon in my system tray and then close it again. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can fix this problem?

By upgrade, I mean MS's ver. of upgrade, the latest media player.

However, what happens if you roll the driver back? Is it fixed?

Go back to the older Video Driver

Most times when this happens it's a sign that the New Driver doesn't suit your hardware no matter what is claimed by the maker.
