how do i get rid of viris thats in my control panel n allso in my yahoo ...its blocking so i cant get in or add n remove

Norton virus software (or Internet Security) will scan the Hard Disk from the CD before installing the software package, which might help you.

first, if you have XP or ME, turn off the "System Restore".
A good program to use if your Windows Viruscanner is compromised is either NOD32 for DOS trial at:

If you are using 9x, ME or FAT32 XP/2000 then here is another good program to use called F-PROT(
I have been using it for 5 years now. It DOES NOT work with NTFS partitions however! Also, I would suggest a spyware removal tool. I like SpyBot S&amp which can be found on any search engine or at thier homepage: If you do have XP/2000 with an NTFS partion then have a friend with Norton Antivirus make you some bootable disks. Instructions on how to do this should be in the program somewhere. Good Luck!
