Virtual Bouncer removal

By pabouvier ·
We keep deleting all references to NRTT on this system, both in storage and registry, but it keeps comming back. I don't recognize the name. Is is related to the virtual bouncer?

Services and Safe Mode

Make sure to check your Windows Services for anything you don't recognize. Also check the Run and RunOnce keys in the registry. Also take note of the EXE files you may not be able to delete them unless you reboot in Safe Mode. Also make sure to reinstall the latest Windows Media Player too.
If you are still getting spyware, your only hope may be to backup your files and reinstall Windows.

For files that you cannot 'delete', atleast easily. Theres an old program called ATTRIB for attribute. You should be able to open a DOS window, find the path and type something like this: attrib -r -a nastyfile.exe

Delete the offending file and move on. Many spyware programs have hidden copies that will reinstall themselves if they are damanged or broken.

If its common theres a signature out there with someone.
