Virtual Disc – Drive (A:) on a ThinkCenter

by bob . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

I load an operating system into this pc and it loads and works fine in primary mode.
If I reboot the pc, it is necessary to have the OS disc in the CDRom to boot back to windows.
At drastic measures, I wrote the hard drive back to zeros. During this process is when I noticed the Virtual Disc – Drive (A:)
I looked all through the bios of this IBM pc and saw nothing pertaining to this drive.
The A: drive is disabled in the bios, but there is no physical floppy disc drive on this pc either.
I am believing that it is the Virtual Disc Drive that is causing this issue.
How do I disable it? Or change it’s settings?
