I am looking to set up a virtual pc on my XP home edition computer I want to set it up with Ubuntu from Linux however whenever I go to run the disk it freezes on a:// now I don't have a floppy drive so I disabled the search for one still stops on that point. I understand that microsoft doesn't support Linux but is there way to get a gui screen for linux on virtual PC?

Never used Virtual PC...

I use VirtualBox by Sun.... or VMware free server wich works great... One nice feature of VirtualBox by sun is that they are "starting" to get 3D rendering working with in VM's...

Just another avenue to venture down if you get fed up with Virtual CP....

running on Virtual PC 2007. I loaded it through an ISO by capturing the ISO by clicking on CD.
