Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1

By reoroman ·
Using Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1, I have problem lunching a LAB that require base08c.vhd

All other labs lunch normally

The error i got is:

THIS APPLICATION REQUIERS WRITE ACCESS TO THE FILE BASE08C.VHD PLEASE ENSURE THIS FILE IS NOT WRITE PROTECTED.

I installed IIS

.net v2

Virtual server 2005 R1 SP2

The base files are not read only

I even download a new BASE08C.VHD file from MCT site, same result.

All other base files works fine.

please advise what to do to resolve the problem?

Got Admin?

This may go without saying but are you logged in with a member of the adminstrators group shown?

If so, go the advanced in the bottom right and uncheck "Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects . . . " If not, you will need to login as an admin and add the account you are using as an admin.

Hi, Can you share please share the base08c.vhd file? I'm not an MCT but I am currently working for my certification. Thanks!
