You will find detailed instructions on the solution you are looking for at this website:
http://service1.symantec.com/sarc/sarc.nsf/html/W32.HLLW.Bymer.html

As you can see, it is a symantec site.

Good luck!

You may also try www.pcpitstop.com and scan your system while online for free.

I also suggest using the Norton AV program and that you make sure that your e-mail is protected. Check your setting under the "Configue Norton AntiVirus" options. Enabling it will scan everyone of your e-mails that you receive, so that in the future this won't happen again. Norton AV 2001, updates itself while you are online, that way your Virus scanner is always upto date. HTH

Although this is a virus, you are not getting it through email - more than likely, you have an "always on" type of Internet access (cable modem, DSL, school supplied T1 or the like). Anti-virus programs will detect it, but the sender has your IP address so you WILL get it again. What you need is a firewall. Try ZoneAlarm. It's a free firewall and it rates higher than many of the big name programs. You can download it from www.zonelabs.com.

Good luck!
