Virus found on files saved in A drive

By Luis Varela ·
Please advise on getting rid of the virus that attaches to files saved to floppies. I have run Norton anti-virus but it did not find any viruses. Changed diskettes to rule out possobilities. As well as deleting unnecessary files, running Scandisk and Defragmenting hard drive. Not that it would make a difference. System: Pentium 233mhz, 64MB RAM, 6GB HD, Windows 95 os.

Virus found on files saved in A drive

It sounds like the virus definition files are out of date. Update NAV, and try again is the obvious first step.
Obviously someone else has scanned the floppies in their PC, and found the virus, since NAV in yours did not.
What AntiVirus program isthe other PC running? You may want to try it.
Regards, Chris

Thank you for your replying so soon.

PC was running 97 ver. of NAV. Installed new ver. & problems were solved. There were 10 different viruses and 17 files infected.
Thanks again. Luis
