I have recently been subjected to a various forms of malicious activity on my computer. I am currently running Avast! Antivirus which is telling me when i get a Virus/worm/trojan etc etc.
They seem to be located in my Temp folder and my system folders.
Im not an experienced user so im not messing around with the system folders etc, but i cant seem to get rid of them , Avast suggests moving them to the chest, which i do, but i still dont know if my computer is affected or not :S
Another problem is that a strange looking program called antivirus xp 2008 is suddenly on my computer, i know that its not real because ive googled it and saw its spyware, but i dont know how to get rid of it nor where it come from.
1 last thing is that a now also have a very strange looking background which alerts me to potential spyware on my computer, but the problem is i cant get rid of it because the display option is locked
i need help if anyone has any answers then it would REALLY help, thanks
